Salesforce is by no means synonymous with RevOps. The RevOps approach spreads across many different job functions that interact with customers at different points in buyer's journey. Many of these job functions also work out of different systems with different databases.
The RevOps space has a lot of different tools and systems. For many organizations, Salesforce is CRM that serves as the central hub for go-to-market data and processes. Many companies also use other platforms like Hubspot, Zoho, or Oracle tools... but no other system can quite do what Salesforce can do. And no other system has the same marketshare that Salesforce has.
